NCC

                                    The purpose of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) is to provide basic military training along their study to the students. The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service, amongst young citizens. Further, it creates a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit was established in the college in 1963, with the leadership of Sri Yatindra Nath Tripathi, first ANO. Later on, in 2000, Dr. H.P Chaudhary appointed as full-fledged Associate NCC Officer (ANO). At present, Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Asst. Professor (Department of Zoology) is in-charge of NCC as a CTO. The college sanctioned with single unit of NCC (Total 54 seats, 18 for each I, II & IIIrd year), affiliated to 47 UP BN NCC, BASTI.
